The XP3 Performance Cycle Light was designed to work solely with the o-ring mount system. Special care was taken to ensure that it is well balanced, sturdy and provides day, months and years of reliable performance. The wide beam and the light weight of the light unit makes it perfect for the versatile o-ring mounting system.
But after its initial release, there were several people that requested the XP7 Ultimate Cycle Light mount for the XP3. Therefore we have made the XP3 Performance Cycle Light even better. We went back to the drawing board and changed the design so that it would work with both mounts. The updated design from now on will be provided with the o-ring mount as well as the XP-QR mount. Sadly this change is not backwards compatible.
