The big brother of the Basecamp, the Summit is the range-topper from Extreme Lights and, befitting the title, comes with the same lighting functions, but with the added benefit of a CREE XP-E-LED powered by a 900 mAh rechargeable battery. Its beam reaches up to 138metres on the maximum setting and it is also water resistant up to an IPX6 rating.

This product, developed by Stellenbosch based company Extreme Lights, is quite affordable despite delivering big. Its beam reaches up to 110m and it has three brightness settings as well as a strobe function, with the red LED's for night viewing also boasting a strobe function.
