kLite - ULTRA Racing Lighting and USB Charge Kit

The kLite ULTRA V2 Race system: a dynamo-powered front light with USB charging, built for continuous riding on rough terrain. The best light in the kLite range for flying down rough roads at any speed, and recommended for races like Unbound XL and backcountry events like the Hunt 1000.

Front light (ULTRA V2)

• 1300 lumens, 135 g
• Optics: two spot and one flood element - a wide field of view for technical sections plus a central beam to light gravel at pace
• Auto high/low beam - no button to press
• Soft optical cutoff (a hard cutoff can create blind spots under fork dive)
• Standby mode: stays lit for 30 minutes when slow or stopped, so you can find gear or make camp
• Low-speed power booster gives more output at low speed than standard dynamo lights
• Tough, impact-resistant, waterproof and field repairable
• Mount heatsink up or down, but not sideways

USB charging (kLite MICRO)

• Up to 1400 mA (500 mA typical), starts charging from about 8 km/h
• Charges phones, GPS units, lights and power banks; USB-A with USB-C socket adapter
• A 10,000 mAh power bank is recommended; QC3.0 / USB PD banks charge faster from the wall

Good to know

• Dynamo hub output is limited to about 3 W. If USB charging draws heavily while the light is on, the system enters "power share" mode, giving USB priority (the centre LED may not light). Charge in daylight with the light off for best results.
• Runs from a dynamo hub only (AC). It cannot be run from a battery or power bank, and a bottle dynamo cannot fully light it.
• The USB charger body is waterproof, but the USB sockets can rust if left in rain. Dielectric grease or a top tube / frame bag helps protect them.
