The new XP Quick Release Cycle Light Clamp is a Quick Release Mount that is able to rotate in the direction as required by the cyclist. It is a bolt on replacement for the O-ring mount. All you need to do is remove the foot piece from the existing light and attach the XP Quick release mount. The bottom part clamps to any size handlebar with 2 different thickness shims for a snug fitting installation.

The top part is compatible with all of our Extreme Cycle Lights with the exception of the original XP3. On some of the lights, the XP-QR clamp does not sit very elegantly. Take a look at the pictures showing various lights with the XP-QR mount. If your XP3 Cycle did not include the XP-Quick release mount it is not compatible.

The high-density polymer material is not just strong and durable, it also has a matte finish with a premium feel. The brass attachment screw will not react with the aluminum and cause a galvanic reaction.

The XP cycle light clamp is also compatible with most other o-ring mounted lights. Such as Magic Shine and Magic Light.

The XP cycle light clamp is to be used with a CYCLE LIGHT, and is not compatible with any MOTORCYCLE LIGHTS.

Although the foot of the XP Quick Release Cycle light Clamp can be adjusted to accommodate an offset handlebar, it should be done during setup and not tampered during usage. It is not advisable to adjust the clamps while riding. Always check that the clamp is properly secured before starting with any ride.

Always use a Threadlocker, such as LOCTITE® 222™ Purple Threadlocker, to secure the clamp to the light.

Light clamp

Easy to install and mount to bike. Stays in position on light trails. Need to test on rough terrain to test ruggedness

Just awesome. I have been using one of these on one of my other lights and just had to get one for another light. Works perfect. Light does not move or come loose even with extreme rough mtb trails.

The light clamp is an excellent and well made product it would be even better if you had the option of different bolt sizes that you could switch for different lights.
