An LED spotlight that is truly a SPOT light! With a beam pattern of ONLY 7 degrees, the 70W Night Raider has a narrow beam pattern, with ample side spill, that will help you see animals and people walking next to the road. It also boasts a 400m beam distance.
The new 70W Night Raider Spot Lights have a totally new bracket. They are now equipped with a bracket that attaches to the bottom of the light. It appears a lot cleaner and is sturdier. The new bracket is NOT compatible with the old lights.
The 70W Night Raider Spots have been Certified with the E-1 Mark. This is one of the best certifications available and is according to the German Specification.
With a rugged appearance, the 70W Night Raider LED Spot Light is larger than a work light.
Individual Deep Reflectors with Clear Lens for Maximum Beam Distance
400 meters on realistic terrain. Will pick up reflective markers off a hill over a greater distance.
Should one be looking at lumens or wattage when you compare brightness of a spotlight. How does the Night raider and the Hella supernova 6 compare to each other?
Lumens is a better means of judgement. That being said, one has to know if you are reading theoretical max lumens or realistic lumens falling where you are looking. On an output basis, the Night Raiders throw 6300 lumen whereas the Hella Supernova 6" throw 2850 lumen.
(1) Do the 70W Night Raiders LED spot lights come with protective / optional lense covers, e.g. yellow for mist?
(2) Do the 70W Night Raiders LED spot lights come standard with glass or polycarbonate lenses (or other type)?
The 70W only comes in clear Polycarbonate lenses which protects it against cracking and chipping.
We don't have any other colour options available.
Do you have to buy the wiring harness separate or is it included?
Hi Stephan, We don't supply the wiring harness. Fitment centres these days make up their own harnesses.
Hi what inches is this spotlight. Thank you
The 70W Night Raiders have a diameter of 165mm, that translates into 6.5 inches.
Does the light affect oncoming traffic
It is a spotlight and very bright so it will definitly be a problem using it on the open road with oncoming traffic it will be seen the same way as using your brights.
