What is the beam distance?
400 meters on realistic terrain. Will pick up reflective markers off a hill over a greater distance.

Should one be looking at lumens or wattage when you compare brightness of a spotlight. How does the Night raider and the Hella supernova 6 compare to each other?
Lumens is a better means of judgement. That being said, one has to know if you are reading theoretical max lumens or realistic lumens falling where you are looking. On an output basis, the Night Raiders throw 6300 lumen whereas the Hella Supernova 6" throw 2850 lumen.

(1) Do the 70W Night Raiders LED spot lights come with protective / optional lense covers, e.g. yellow for mist? (2) Do the 70W Night Raiders LED spot lights come standard with glass or polycarbonate lenses (or other type)?
The 70W only comes in clear Polycarbonate lenses which protects it against cracking and chipping. We don't have any other colour options available.

Do you have to buy the wiring harness separate or is it included?
Hi Stephan, We don't supply the wiring harness. Fitment centres these days make up their own harnesses.

Does the light affect oncoming traffic

It is a spotlight and very bright so it will definitly be a problem using it on the open road with oncoming traffic it will be seen the same way as using your brights.
